Here is my honest review about West Toronto Auto Leasing and Sales Ltd. after a year of ownership. Firstly, the dealership has several locations, I was helped at the St Clair location, (one of many it seems) which offered a good selection of used cars/commercial vehicles. Domenic helped me with the Chevy van I was looking for and we were quickly able to go over some of the history, I was also offered to test drive it. On the second appointment, I returned with a mechanic friend to inspect the vehicle thoroughly. There were no major red flags, besides a leaky master cylinder and a small roof penetration (not unusual for commercial vehicles). All repairs were agreed to be taken care of by dealership prior to purchase. On the day of purchase, Maria helped me setup an in-house financing since the bank denied me. The offered interest rate was higher than the banks but it is a 2004 vehicle, and in-house rates tend to be higher since the dealership is willing to accept taking the risk...nothing uncommon here. She was very nice, thorough in explaining the process and easy to reach out later on for questions. After purchase, the vehicle was handed over to me detailed, with all discussed repairs done. A year after I am still happy. I drove across Canada and back and only had to deal with regular oil changes so far. Not to mention the price I bought it for was fair. I'm happy with the service offered and would recommend Domenic and Maria for future help. Also happy to help family owned businesses! Thank you both. PS: Advice for 1st time buyers like me: Don't hesitate to ask for the detailed pricing prior to purchase. There are added costs I wasn't aware of (licensing/GPS tracker if leased...it helps tracking your final budget ;)

I just recently purchased a Kia Soul from West Toronto Leasing and I am very pleased with the vehicle! It is simply the perfect fit! It's a dream to drive and so convenient too easy to use the fifth hatch door for groceries and it's my perfect height! I don't have to bend down and crawl in or jump up to get in. My family and I have known Domenic and Maria now for over 30 years. He has sold us in total, I believe, 6 cars and has also serviced them for us: 3 to me, 2 to my late mother and 1 to my brother just recently this past September. What you can expect from Domenic and Maria, as a team, is respect, honesty, integrity, professionalism, a high level of quality of service and much more. The last car I bought from Domenic was in 2018. I simply walked into his office, told him I thought it was time to replace the vehicle I was driving that he had sold me in 2004 at his KIA dealership that he owned then. He agreed. I gave him my budget and he showed me a vehicle on his lot. He also mentioned the car next to it was the same make and model, same year, but just offered it as a comparison to the one I was looking at. He said it was above my budget, so it was off the table. Of course, I loved the other one with leather seats and a sunroof, but he reminded me it was above my budget and he wouldn’t let me talk myself into buying that one. In the end, I bought the one he recommended that was within my budget. It was just as perfect, just as he explained it would be. It had what I needed, all the bells and whistles and a couple of other surprises even, and it was right on budget. This is why I always turn to Domenic when I need a car, because over the years, he not only has learned what type of car would suite my personality and needs, but he listens carefully to your needs and wants, and I know for certain that the car I purchase from him will be just what I am searching for, and it will be safe and dependable, two things that are important to me. And if he feels you are going in the wrong direction with a vehicle you think you want and are asking for, then he will educate you. He may point out, for example, potential future high part replacement costs to expect or the car’s history of poor road worthiness or whatever. But either way, he will leave it up to you to make the final choice in the end, offer you want you decide you want, but at least, as far as he’s concerned, he’s conducted himself with the customer in mind. What is also very interesting to know is that Domenic is an academically accredited mechanical engineer who has a gift when it comes to selecting cars at auction for his resale lot and for servicing all types of vehicles. You can trust him. In fact, for example, this year I moved out of the city, and just to compare, I tested out a service center in this new area. I went in to get my winter tires put on. Picking up the vehicle, I was told that, very soon, when I could afford it, of course, I would need new ball bearings and my brakes replaced. I got nervous and panicky. I took the estimates they gave me to Domenic for his advice. He not only told me they overpriced the new ball bearings but that, after taking the car out for a test drive, I didn’t need them right away, that I could wait until I really needed to replace them. He laid out a better price and deal for me and told me it was good for when I truly needed new ball bearings (that happened to be several months later). He also told me that, based on my car’s mileage that I didn’t need to replace my brakes for at least another 50,000 km. I’m still driving with the same brakes and its now several months after the fact. I anticipate not needing new ones until maybe next year in the spring. In other words, he is not there to get you to open your wallet for him. In short, I can promise you that he will always go the extra mile for his customer, as he has for our family over the years. And when you are in need of a used vehicle, I can also promise you that he and Maria will make the whole experience of purchasing a vehicle painless and that you won’t regret that you chose him to do business with.
